New Look Rochdale Hornets hopes for the season are high, with a talented squad made up of  no less than seven new signings, many of them coming through Super League development systems including: Jon Roper (Warrington Wolves) Paul Southern and Ian Watson (Salford Reds), Andrew Grundy (Wigan Warriors), Radney Bowker (Leigh Centurions), Mathew Leigh (Salford Reds), Gareth Price (St Helens). The Hornets season will be one to watch especially in the front row, with Paul Southern and Andy Grundy teaming up for the first time. Both Props with  a huge amount of experience, making for mouth-watering viewing. Also, Super League veteran winger Jon Roper is aiming to bring his successful career to a close on a high. Not forgetting, the new youth signings of the talented Radney Bowker and Mick Nanyn, makes this season most definitely one to watch.
